Stopwatch & crew-share

Time the race right in QuickMeet — start one clock and tap finishes as runners cross. Share a crew link to hand the timer off to a trusted volunteer, no QuickMeet account needed.

Use the stopwatch

  1. 1

    Open the Stopwatch

    From the meet, open Stopwatch.

  2. 2

    Start the clock

    Hit Start at the gun.

  3. 3

    Tap each finish

Tap Finish or Space Bar as each runner crosses; captured times collect in the Finishes list. Undo fixes a mistap.

  4. 4

    Match times to finishers

Reconcile the captured times with finishers, then confirm on Score Validation.

Let someone else run the clock

Only one device controls the clock at a time. If you'd rather have someone else run the stopwatch — a volunteer at the finish line, an assistant coach — copy the Crew link and send it to them beforethe race starts. They open it on their own device and start the same clock and finish list at the gun, no QuickMeet account needed. There's also a separate Live view link that anyone can watch — parents, coaches, spectators — without controlling the timer.

  • One clock, one person in control.
  • The crew member opens the link ahead of time and runs Start/Finish/Undo just like the host would.
  • Live view is separate — anyone can watch the clock and finish list without being able to control it.

Share the crew link carefully

Anyone with the crew link can control timing for that race, so share it only with the person you've asked to run the clock — before the race starts.
