Getting Started
Roles & access
QuickMeet has two everyday roles — coaches and athletes — each with its own view of the app.
Coaches & meet directors
Coaches run the team and the meets. A coach can:
- Create and manage the team roster and training groups
- Create meets, take entries, generate heats, and score events
- Schedule workouts, take attendance, and log results
- View training-load analytics, goals, injuries, and performance for the whole team
- Invite athletes to the athlete portal
Athletes
Athletes get a focused, personal view through the athlete portal. An athlete can:
- See workouts assigned to them and log their results
- Set and track personal goals
- Report and follow injuries
- Review their personal records and performance over time
Athletes only ever see their own information — not other athletes' data or coaching tools.
How athletes get access
Athletes do not sign up themselves. A coach adds the athlete and sends an invite; the athlete follows the link to set a password and activate their portal login. This keeps rosters accurate and ensures every athlete account is tied to a real team member.
Note
An athlete's login is optional. Coaches can manage an athlete's entries, workouts, and results whether or not that athlete has ever logged in.
Spectators & families
Anyone can view public results and the live cross country scoreboard through a shared link — no account or login required.
