Meets — Track & Field

Entries & limits

Add your athletes to the events they're competing in, and keep entries in check with per-team limits.

Add entries

  1. 1

    Open the meet's Entries page

    From the meet, open Entries.

  2. 2

    Enter athletes into events

Add athletes to each event they're competing in. Seed times/marks help QuickMeet build heats later.

  3. 3

Bulk add when you have a lot

Use Bulk Add Athletes to add many athletes at once instead of one by one.

Seed times

Seed times (or marks) are what QuickMeet uses to rank athletes when it builds heats and flights. For any athlete who already has results in QuickMeet, the seed is filled in automatically from their best performance — so there's often nothing to type.

You can also add or update a seed by hand at any time. Edit it right on the entry to reflect a recent time, a converted mark, or an athlete who's new to QuickMeet and doesn't have results yet.

Entry limits & event order

  • Set per-team entry limits so no team over-enters an event.
  • Reorder events to match your meet schedule.
  • Entries flow straight into heat generation and result entry — no re-typing.

Tip

Adding seed times to entries lets QuickMeet seed heats and flights automatically.
