Workouts

Build a library of reusable workout templates once, then schedule them again and again. Workouts are also what feed QuickMeet's training-load analytics.

What it is

A workout is a reusable template made of sets and items. Each item can carry a distance, reps, an effort/intensity, and rest — the details QuickMeet uses to compute training load.

Build a workout template

  1. 1

    Open Workouts

Sidebar → CoachingWorkouts, then New Workout.

  2. 2

Name it and pick a sport

Give it a clear name (e.g. “Track Tuesday”) and tag it XC, T&F, or general.

  3. 3

    Add sets and items

Group work into sets (e.g. “Main Set”) and add items with a distance, reps, effort, and rest. Sets can repeat, so “3 × (4 × 400m)” stays tidy.

Set effort for accurate load

Adding an effort/intensity to items makes training load reflect hard days vs. easy days — not just distance. Items without a distance (drills, strength) don't contribute to load.

From template to the calendar

Templates don't appear on the calendar until you schedule them. Head to the Workout calendar to place a workout on a date and assign it to groups or athletes.

  • Reuse templates all season instead of rebuilding sessions.
  • Scheduling a workout to a group applies it to everyone in that group.
  • Logged results flow straight into training load — no double entry.
